Fine Arts

Fine Arts is a tool to help discover, develop, and deploy students' God-given talents for grades 6-12.

Students are given the opportunity to learn new skills and meet new friends.

Fine Arts includes a District and National competition which attracts thousands of students from across the nation to compete in various ministry- related categories. This year, Districts will be held in Orlando, Florida, and Nationals will also be held in Orlando, Florida. The program begins with weekly practices for team events in December and concludes with the national competition in August.

Important Dates

November 6th: Parent Info Night

November 13th: Commitment Forms & $50 Deposit due

November 17th: Drama, Readers Theater, Vocal, Worship Team, Musical Theater Auditions

December 7th: Human Video Team Reveal

April 13th: Window Washing Fundraiser (9:30AM & 10:45AM services) - First 40 students to sign up

April 29th: Fine Arts Night Dress Rehearsal - 6:00PM in the FLC Gym

April 30th: Fine Arts Night - 6:30PM in the FLC Gym

May 1st-3rd: District Fine Arts Festival

July 30th: Dinner & a Show Fine Arts Night - 5:30PM in the Gym

August 4th-9th: National Fine Arts Festival

Payment Plan & What Cost Includes

November 12th: $50

December 18th: $50

January 22nd: $100

February 19th: $100 + ($30 x # of additional categories)

March 19th: $100

April 16th: $100

May 21st: $100

June 18th: $100 + ($25 x # of additional categories)

July 30th: $125

Total Cost: $825

Lodging

Hotel for District Fine Arts (2 Nights) & Hotel for National Fine Arts (5 Nights)

Shirts

2 District Shirts & 2 National Shirts

Registration

Districts (1 category) and Nationals (1 category)

Additional categories are $30 each for Districts and $25 each for Nationals

Transportation

Transportation to and from Districts and Nationals, transportation throughout the events

Fun Activity

We will do something fun in Orlando on either the first or last day of our Nationals trip.
