Foster Care Classes

This week you have an opportunity to change the lives of children in the foster care system who need loving homes and a positive influence. Right now, due to the closing of a children's shelter and the COVID-19 pandemic, there is an urgent local need for quality foster care.

Heartland for Children is here to walk you through the process of getting trained and ready to receive a foster child, and they have opened up virtual classes for you to find out more information and to take your first steps toward helping a child.

Weekend classes begin Saturday, October 17, from 10 AM to 3 PM, and meet for 3 consecutive weeks.

Weeknight classes will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6-8 PM, beginning Tuesday, October 20th.
