Video Producer Application

Position: Video Producer
Status: Salary, 40 hours a week
Supervisor: Communications Director
Work Days: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM | Events as needed

The Video Producer will be responsible for creating stories and announcements through video that will show primarily during the weekend services. They will also capture and edit videos for Dream Center events, conferences, and special services. In addition, they will work with the Social Media Manager to create weekly reels.

Scope of Work

  • Create video content and story videos for Sunday morning service experiences, such as promotional materials, announcements, testimonials, and special event recaps.
  • Create video content for the ministries of Victory Church.
  • Manage both campuses’ YouTube channels.
      • Including playlists and featured videos, as well as trimming weekly message videos.
  • Create weekly reels for social accounts.
  • Purchase and oversee the video gear, maintain the quality of video equipment, and foresee the future needs of obtaining and upgrading gear.
  • Collaborate with church staff, pastors, and members of the congregation to develop creative concepts for video content that aligns with the mission of the church.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends, best practices, and new technologies in video production. Explore new techniques and creative ideas to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our church content.

Experience & Knowledge Required

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or Final Cut Pro (Premiere CC, After Effects CC).
  • Previous experience in DSLR video workflow.
      • Canon cameras, audio devices, and lighting equipment.
  • Experience with shooting and editing video on a deadline basis is preferred.
  • Able to lead, problem-solve, and tell a story effectively.
  • Able to work as a team player and discuss needs, challenges, and ideas.
  • Able to think ahead, anticipate needs and offer creative solutions.
  • Able to collaborate with other members of the creative team, including photographers, graphic designers, and the tech team, to coordinate and create a cohesive visual multimedia experience.
  • Able to extract compelling elements from raw video footage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
